Legislative Assembly General Election 2018 : Instructions regarding hoardings allocation for promotion

According to information received from the Collector and District Election Officer, Shri K.C. Devsenapati, Additional Collector and Deputy District Election Officer, Shri KP Sai, for the purpose of dissemination of political campaigns in the urban areas under the district Surajpur for assembly elections, through the hoardings. The applications are being presented to the Chief Municipal Officer. In this regard, under the district Surajpur, the Chief Municipal Officer's Council / Nagar Panchayat has been directed to all.Protect 50 percent of hoardings from the total Vaidya hoardings in their area for the promotion of political parties. In this regard, the following conditions have been instructed to be followed strictly.

Illegal alcohol sales are being done on those people

In view of the Legislative Assembly elections 2018, strict action is being taken against the distributors of illegal liquor in the district by the District Excise Department on the instructions of Collector and District Election Officer Mr. Hiralal Nayak. Total 5 episodes have been set up under different streams on the sale and sale of illegal liquor by conducting raids in 13 locations in the last 13 days by the department.During the raids conducted by Excise Department, 11.5 bulk liters of hand kiln liquor and 0.19 bulk liters of foreign liquor were seized, whose market value was estimated to be 1217 rupees. During this period, the department prepared a total of 5 cases and seized illegal liquor and arrested the Oraps.In this proceeding, 0.100 bulk liters of foreign liquor from Swami Tirkey, Swamishri Suresh Tirkey of village Bhainsanunda, 0.090 bulk liter foreign liquor from Shravan Tirki, self-styled Joefes Tirki, Smt. Sushma Gupta from village Khutanpara, 4.00 bulk liters hand grinder from Ram Khanduri and Ramnujanganj Vimaladevi husband Suneshwar Sav has confiscated 3.5 bulk liter hand brewery.

Collector collects necessary instructions to the sector executives

Collector and District Election Officer, Mr. Hiralal Nayak, got information about Geo tagging of the polling stations from the Sector officials appointed for the Legislative Assembly election 2018 in the time-limit meeting.
