Assembly general election 2018 Nomination will be filled today

According to the program released on October 6, 2018 for Ambikapur 25 October 2018 / Vidhan Sabha General Election 2018, nomination papers will be filed from October 26 to November 02, 2018 and nomination papers filed on November 3 will be examined. The candidates will be able to withdraw the names by November 5. Under the second phase of assembly elections, polling will be held on November 20 in Premnagar, Bhatgaon and Pratappur assembly constituencies of Surajpur district. Collector and District Election Officer, Shri KD Deveshnapati has imposed the duty of officers and employees for filing nominations. He has asked the dutiful staff to ensure action as directed.
Returning Officers Office
Returning Officer Office has been made to Collector Court, located at Collectorate Complex, for assembly constituency falling under the district. Shri K.D. Devsenapati will be the Returning Officer of Premnagar assembly constituency. The Chief Executive Officer District Panchayat Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Jha has been made in the returning officer's office of 06-Pratappur and the office of Joint District Office. Similarly, Additional Collector Shri KP Sai has been made the Additional Collector Court as the Returning Officer's Office of 05-Bhatgaon assembly constituency. Candidates will be filing nomination papers from 11 am to 3 pm.
Information on criminal matters will be given
As per the Election Commission's directive, candidates will have to report criminal cases when filing nomination papers. It has been stated in the instructions issued that every candidate contesting election will fill the information in the format provided by the Election Commission and all the details provided in this format must be mentioned. It has been said to write the details in the upper case against the pending criminal cases against the candidate. If any candidate is contesting on a particular party ticket, then he is required to inform the team about pending criminal cases against him. Related political parties will be bound to put prerequisite information on their website regarding candidates for criminal pre-conditions.
Social Media Information
Candidates filing nominations for the Vidhan Sabha election will have to submit the prescribed information in the affidavit in Form-26 along with the nomination papers. They will also be given the details of the candidate's telephone number, e-mail id and social media account.
