Raipur : 'Antyodaya' dreams reach distant lands  :  Rs 105 crore development works sanctioned in Sukma district

 2, 000 citizens get schemes' benefits     

Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh's State-wide Vikas Yatra today reached remote village Gaadhiraas in Sukma district on the second day of his yatra. He sanctioned development works worth Rs 105 crore 22 lakh in the Left-Wing Extremism affected Adivasi-dominated region. He dedicated eight works worth Rs 14 crore 95 lakh and laid the foundation stones of 37 development works worth Rs 90 crore 26 lakh. He also distributed relief  materials to two thousand beneficiaries of various State Government schemes.

Dr. Raman Singh while addressing a mammoth public meeting said that due to the implementation of many Central and State Government projects the dreams of 'Antyodaya' had been reaching far-flung regions of Chhattisgarh. The authorities had achieved significant success in controlling hunger -malnutrition and migrations on large scale to various other parts of country.

Chief Minister sanctioned a mini=stadium worth Rs 50 lakh at village Gaadhiraas, Gauravpath worth Rs One crore and construction of bridge over river Mangor in the vicinity. He added that he had come to seek the blessings of the citizens. The development will increase manifold in this remote areas.  Union Home Minister Mr. Rajnath Singh dedicated 132 k.v. electric sub-station in Sukma district  which will ensure smooth supply of power.

Chief Minister added that roads worth Rs 350 crore is being laid linking Sukma-Konta (78 km) at a brisk pace. Composite building at a cost of Rs 17 crore is being  built in the headquarter town. Hospital building is being constructed at a cost of Rs Eight crore 06 lakh. New bridge is complete linking Dornapal-Odisha. The farmers belonging to the depressed sections of the society are getting electricity free of charge.
