Chief Minister inaugurates the newly constructed building of Balika Vidyalaya and Hostel

2.62 crores sanctioned for various facilities in the school

The Chief Minister of the State, Shri Bhupesh Badheel said that there is some talent in the Divisions. Their skills need to be cleaned. All possible cooperation will be given by the state government so that they can become self-reliant by becoming skilled. He was addressing the inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed building of Government Girls' School, Dormitory and Training Center in the district headquarters Dhamtari today. Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Minister Smt. Anila Bhandiah was also present on this occasion. The Chief Minister also sanctioned Rs. 2.62 crores for other arrangements including furniture, open gym, computer and audiometry room in the school and training center.

              The Chief Minister said that in order to improve the talent of the girls, they should be provided computer, sewing, beauty parlor and other vocational training, so that they can stand on their feet in future. He said that any budget for this will be given by the state government. The Chief Minister presenting food to the children and elderly people present on this occasion with their own hands. It is noteworthy that the state-run Education Board, hostel and training center run by the Social Welfare Department of the state government was still running in the rented house, for which the state government has constructed this fully equipped building at a cost of Rs. 30 crore 30 lakhs. Here, 105 hearing aids children from different districts are studied. This school has a system of study from class I to tenth.

          On this occasion, the Chief Minister gave the key to the Prime Minister's residence to Ravishankar Nagar of the Third Gender community. As well as under various schemes of the Social Welfare Department, marriage allowance for three Divya couples, 50 silent deaf children and 10 senior elderly people to hearing aids, 10 senior elderly people, Walking steak, Ten devotees to motorized triasikal, Ten devotees to Triasikal and Wheel Chair distributed. On this occasion, Divyang and elderly people were also honored.

         Social Welfare Minister Smt. Anila Bhendia said that Divyanjan specializes in some art. Under the guidance of this school and its teachers, it will help to refine their art and these children will illuminate the name of the state and the country in the days to come. Under the Suraji village scheme, the Dhamtari Gothan-animal Mitan mobile app was also launched.

        On this occasion, former legislator Mr. Kanaram Sahu, Mr. Ram Gopal Agarwal, Mr. Girish Devangan, Mr. Chandrakant Uike, Director of Social Welfare Department, senior civil servants including senior civil servants, Divyang students and their parents were present.
