At the time of purchase at farmers' support price of paddy, the State Government will give bonus to the rate of Rs. 300 per quintal. Now farmers will get Rs 2050 and Rs 2070 per quintal per quintal in accordance with the variety of paddy.
He informed that the farmers are also being given the facility of payment of electricity bills on flat-rate at flats at more than one pumps on irrigation pumps upto five horspers. The state government is giving a grant of one lakh rupees for connection of irrigation pumps. About 12 lakh families of the single-light connection holders of the state are being given the facility of payment of Rs. 100 per month on flat rate, after consuming more than 40 units of electricity.
