Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh has announced to sanction four crore rupees for the widening of bus stand in the remote and end-of-the-state Naxal-affected development block and district headquarter Sukma. He has also given the theoretical consent for construction of interstate bus stand in Bhopalpatnam, headquarter of Vikaskhand and Tahsil district of Bijapur district. Dr. Singh also announced to construct a residential colony under the rehabilitation scheme for one hundred Naxalites surrendered in rural areas engaged in Sukma. He said that for this, one lakh rupees per house would be sanctioned from Bastar and South region tribal authorities and the amount of grant would also be given from the District Mineral Trust Fund (DMF) worth 75 thousand rupees. Out of this, 15 thousand rupees will be for the construction of toilets.
     Chief Minister, here today, under the e-Darshan in his residence office, listen to their problems through video conferencing from the four development blocks of the Bastar division of the state - Sukma, Bhopalpatnam, Bijapur (both District-Bijapur) and the people of Qaakonda (District Dantewada) and villagers. The Chief Minister told the District Collector that the proposal for extension of bus stand should be forwarded to the Urban Administration Department in the Ministry today. Aradhana Marakam, President of Sukma Janpad Panchayat, announced the acceptance of Solar Power based Nal-Jal Yojna in Gram Kusharal of Gram Panchayat Ramaram and sports Gram Panchayat of Gram Panchayat.
    Dr. Singh also assured to accept the consent of Mr. Dhaniram Barsee, member of Sukma District Panchayat, in village Zappara. On this, the Chief Minister told him that the state government has got allocation for MNREGA tomorrow. Out of this, the outstanding amount of Sukma will be sent. Shri Barse also demanded hostels for tribal children and girls in village Zapara along the Shabari river in Sukma district. The Chief Minister said that this proposal has been taken note and it will be tested soon. Dr. Singh also resolved many problems through video conferencing from people of Bhopalapatnam development block in Bijapur district. Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister of the District Panchayat Bijapur Mr. Vasant Tati said that good roads are being created in the area. Bhopalpatnam is associated with two states-Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. Therefore, the bus stand needs to be developed as an interstate bus stand. The Chief Minister expressed the theoretical agreement on his suggestion. Dr. Singh said that Bhopalapatnam will definitely become the biggest commercial center of Bijapur district. In view of this possibility, necessary action would be taken to expand the existing bus stand and develop it as an interstate bus stand. Dr. Singh also gave assurance to complete the problem of electricity in the Bhopalpatnam area for complete dismantling in the next five months. He said - 132 KV in Bijapur District Headquarters Electricity Sub Station of capacity is being made. With this, 33 KV in the district Four of the power sub centers are also approved. One of these sub-centers will be made in Bhopalapatnam. Simultaneously, in the next six months, under the comfortable electricity-every house plan (good fortune scheme) of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, in the next six months, will be illuminated by giving connections to 20 thousand houses in Bijapur district.
    The Chief Minister also said that 132 KV in Bijapur Upon completion of the sub-center construction, power plants will be supplied directly from the Korba power plants in the state and there will be no problem of electricity in the area for at least 20 years. Chief Minister said that from Bhopalpatnam to Taragaguda W.B.M. Road construction is also increasing rapidly. It will also be submerged. Bridges are also being constructed on this road. On the request of the District Panchayat member Shri Vasant Tati, the Chief Minister assured the Chief Minister that he would soon get the construction of barbet fencing and platform in the paddy production centers for safe storage of paddy in Bhopalapatnam area.
