National Kisan Day was organized on Sunday 23rd December by Krishi Vigyan Kendra Bemetra. On this occasion, Nileshwar Chandrakar, the excellent farmer of village Thankhamariya was present as the chief guest. Addressing the program, senior Scientist and Head of the Center Dr. CRNatam apprised the Annadar Kisan brothers about the Kisan Day, giving them best wishes, he apprised about the National Farmer's Day.

He said that this day is organized in honor of former Prime Minister of India, Chaudhary Charan Singh, who was the fifth Prime Minister of the country. He took over from July 28, 1 979 to 14 January 1980, but during this time, he made many policies keeping in view the interests of farmers. Their policies not only protected the interests of the farmers, but also motivated them to unite and fight against the landlords.

He followed the "Jai Jawan Jai Kisan" slogan, which was given by former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri. Therefore, every year, farmers' day is organized in all the states of India, which is celebrated as the birthday of Chaudhary Charan Singh.

R.K. Modi Speaking of the importance and respect of farmers, Modi said that farmers are our food additives and the honor of the farmer is the honor of our country. The farmer is the one who brings us food from the field to the plate of eating. Dr. Pragya Pandey explained the importance of cleanliness to the farmers. He said that as we keep our homes clean, we need to take care of cleanliness in our fields as well. He advised farmers not to burn crop residue and encourage these residues to make fertilizer. During the program Dr. Vedhika Sahu explained the importance of soil to the farmers. Soil is the foundation of farmers and the foundation for a good and strong cornerstone is important.

It is extremely important for the production of good crop that the soil is healthy and fertile and this is possible only when the farmer's brother should periodically visit the soil and use the balanced fertilizer and fertilizer, so that we can increase the fertilizer power of the land. Keeping the right production while retaining and providing healthy and fertile land to its next generation. E. Jitendra Joshi told the important use of agricultural machinery in cleanliness.

They discussed crop waste management through various agricultural machinery. A large number of farmers were involved in this occasion and the farmers took part in the cleanliness fortnight and took the initiative to keep cleanliness around them. During the program, Planting and cleaning work was also done in the Government Model Child High Secondary School, Bemetara Complex.
