Bemetra December 19, 2018: - Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today took the meeting of the commissioners and collectors through video conferencing from the capital Raipur on Wednesday evening and collected information on the loss of paddy procurement from untimely rainfall and law and order in the district. Collector Mahadev Kaware informed that in Bemetra district, till date, the purchase of paddy at the support price has been 190756 metric tonnes. Millions issued D.O. 66821 metric tons has been raised against 60821 metric tons. Total Transport Order issued 57064 Metric tons, the lift against it has been 23199 metric tons. Vc During the collector told that the recent untimely rains did not cause much damage to paddy. There is adequate cap cover available in all production centers. He said that so far the paddy of Rs.30 crores has been purchased from the farmers at the support price. 351 crore online payment has been transferred to farmers' account. The collector told that the recent rain for the wheat and gram crops is beneficial. The paddy collection center has been built in Sarda-Lenjwara district, from which millers of Bilaspur and Durg districts are raising the paddy.
 Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that Bemetara is a leading agricultural productive district. For this reason, there is a possibility of establishing a business based on agricultural produce. The Chief Minister asked the collector, Is there any industry unit based on agriculture here? State Minister of State, Shri Tamrampraj Sahu said that Bemetara district is such that no industry is there. Chief Minister Shri Baghel discussed the possibility of setting up Food Processing Plant, Sugar Factory, Tomato Saifee Plant and Soybean Oil Factories. So that the local youth of the district will also get employment. The Chief Minister directed the collector Bemetra to take necessary action in this regard. The Chief Minister gave clear warning to the officers that the elected representatives should be given respect according to their dignity. In relation to law and order, the Chief Minister said that the police should fear the criminals and not the citizens are afraid. Today, Senior Superintendent of Police Mr. H.R. Other officials of the district including Manohar, District Panchayat, Mr. S. Alok, were present.
