Mumbai Indians, Sunrisers engage in Twitter contest over ‘better all-rounder trio’, but CSK wins it; find out how

India’s cash-rich tournament, Indian Premier League’s (IPL) 2019 edition is far away but fans of the famous tournament can’t wait. The auction of the tournament is set to be held in December and ahead of it, Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad were involved in a rather funny Twitter banter. Both gave it back to each other over the debate of which franchise has the best all-rounders. And it was Mumbai Indians who had the last laugh.

It began when Hardik Pandya shared a picture with brother Krunal and West Indian all-rounder Kieron Pollard after recently concluded T20I series against India. Sharing the picture, MI wrote, ‘Find a better all-rounder trio. We will wait ⏳’. To this, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) were quick to respond saying, ‘The wait is over!’ while sharing the picture of the trio all-rounder of their team, Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan and Shakib Al Hasan. But MI didn’t give up easily as in a reply to SRH, the franchise which has won lone IPL trophy, MI posted a hot response with a picture of three IPL trophies they have won so far. While sharing the picture, MI wrote, “The wait goes on.”

However, the Twitter banter didn’t end here as CSK to landed in and won it from coming behind. CSK shared a picture of ‘Thala’ MS Dhoni and captioned it ‘Three faces.’ Well, there is no doubt that these all-rounders are the best players in world as of now and they are tough ones to face in the shortest format of the game. MS Dhoni has led CSK to three IPL wins.
