Community building for Bengali community and Manjhi community approved

People expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister for the approval of forest rights lease, construction of Devgudi and Ghotul

 In his address to the delegation of people from Pakhanjur, Antagarh Koyalibeda area of Kanker district at his residence office today, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel assured that the development works in Pakhanjur, Antagarh and Koyalibeda areas will be conducted on priority bases, and there would be no shortage of funds. On this occasion, Chhattisgarh Handicrafts Development Board Chairman Mr. Chandan Kashyap and MLA Mr. Anoop Nag were present along with the large numbers tribal people from the aforementioned tribal areas.
 
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that the government is committed to ensure the rights of water, forest and land to the tribal community. Besides forest rights lease, State Government has taken several initiatives in forest areas to provide employment to the tribal communities through collection and processing of forest produce. Regarding the demands of the delegation, Mr. Baghel said that all the demands including paddy procurement centre, fair price shop, godown, college, hostel etc in Pakhanjur, Antagarh and Koyalibeda areas would be met and sanctioned as priority, after examining. He assured that the construction of bridges-culverts and appointment of teachers in these areas would be done soon from D.M.F. item. In the context of establishing ethanol plant in Pakhanjur area, he said that if industrialists come forward to establish ethanol plants in this area, permission would be given.

On the occasion, Chief Minister announced sanction of Rs 20 lakh each for construction of four Sarv Adivasi Samaj buildings in Pakhanjur, Koyalibeda, Antagarh and Amabeda. Likewise, Rs 20 lakh each have been sanctioned for construction of community building for Bangali Samaj in Pakhanjur and community building for Majhi Samaj in Gadpratappur in Pakhanjur-Koyalibeda areas. He sanctioned Rs one lakh to Mr. Santosh Kirtaniya of Bandegaon in Pakhanjur for the publication of the literature written by him. At the meeting, people from Pakhanjur, Antagarh and Koyalibeda region thanked Chief Minister for the construction of Devgudi and Ghotul and for the preservation of tribal culture. They also thanked Mr. Baghel for the approval of forest rights leases.
