Nutrition campaign is important for the health of mother and child, including eliminating malnutrition
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that the nutrition campaign is very beneficial for pregnant mothers and infant mothers including eliminating malnutrition among children. Better health of mother and child is our first priority. He said that 47 percent of women aged 15 to 49 in Chhattisgarh suffer from anemia. From the age of eighteen, up to the age of at least 35, women usually have a huge responsibility as pregnant mothers. If women between 15 and 49 years of age will have anemia, how will they be able to fulfill this biggest responsibility of their family.
If the mother is malnourished, suffering from anemia, how will she give birth to a healthy baby? This is the reason why 37.5 percent of children under the age of five years remain malnourished. That is, on the foundation, the foundation on which the family, state and country are to be built, how can we talk about a strong state and a strong India, leaving that building weak. Keeping this in mind, our government emphasized on the proper participation of the community, interest of the local public and the use of local nutritional ingredients, and by making radical changes in the system of giving the first supplementary-nutritious diet, this has been done in the state Important program has been implemented.

Through these two schemes, we are providing health facilities to each of the settlements and settlements, so that hospital facilities are extended to all those who have missed it. Along with this, we have made a big program for health infrastructure in the state, under which budget for five community health centers, 10 primary health centers, 25 sub health centers and trauma unit in Jagdalpur, Raigad district hospital, burn unit in Bilaspur etc. Provisions have been made. Multi-specialty hospitals will be provided at Bilaspur and Jagdalpur Medical College. Our aim is to upgrade government health centers across the state.
